In this guide, we explore how you can get your hands on some Skooma in Oblivion Remastered. We also explain how to use the item.

In many ways, the characters of Oblivion Remastered resemble individuals in the real world. Many of them have secrets to hide from others, and some might even have vices they’re trying to kick. In Tamriel, there’s one substance that you can truly consider a vice or addiction, and that’s Skooma.
If you want to roleplay as a character who’s addicted to the substance, you’ll need to have a bunch of Skooma handy for consumption. In this guide, we’ll explore how to get Skooma in Oblivion Remastered.
How To Get Skooma in Oblivion Remastered

There are three major ways to get your hands on some Skooma. Let’s take a look at what these are.
- Buy Skooma: You can buy Skooma from Shady Sam outside the Imperial City or from Nordinor, who’s in Bravil. For each bottle, you’ll need to spend 75 gold.
- Pickpocket NPCs inside the Skooma Den in Bravil: Head inside the Skooma Den and sneakily pickpocket Roxanne Brigette (15 bottles), Reistr the Rotted (5 bottles), J’zin-Dar (10 bottles), and R’vanni (8 bottles).
- Find by exploring the world: You can find several more Skooma bottles all across Tamriel. Check inside people’s houses and inside the various city castles.

How To Use Skooma in Oblivion Remastered

Drinking Skooma has the following effects:
- 60 points of agility drain on self that lasts 20 seconds
- Intelligence attribute on self drains 2 points
- Your strength will increase by 60 points for 20 seconds.
- Your speed will increase by 60 points for 20 seconds.
As you can see, the only reason you would want to consume Skooma is if you want to fortify your speed and strength at the cost of agility and intelligence. For instance, if you are carrying a lot of items and become over-encumbered, consuming a Skooma can help you quickly reach the nearest shop with your loot. Or, if you want to reach somewhere quickly, consuming a Skooma can give you a nifty boost to your speed and let you cover larger distances much faster.
