Here we will be discussing the arena in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered and how to take part in challenges and win rewards.

In The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered, the Arena is one of the popular side quests you can take up to give you a fresh perspective on a challenge. A mighty challenge at that, I shall add. This Arena can be found within the capital of Cyrodiil—the Imperial City. It is here that players can visit for the purpose of collecting rewards and resources or simply partake in a series of challenges to prove that they are worthy of being crowned the Grand Champion.
Let us learn more about the Arena and how to enter it in this article.
How To Enter the Arena in Oblivion Remastered

Unlocking the Arena is fairly simple in Oblivion Remastered. In fact, this is one of the earliest side quests you get to unlock. After the tutorial sequence, which involves creating your character and escaping the sewer with Emperor Uriel Septim, you will unlock the open world. This is where the game officially begins, unlocking various factions and side quests, including the Arena.
- Open your map and head to the Arena District. Preferably use fast travel to the Arena District to save time. This is the southeastern section of the beautiful Imperial City.
- Over here, you will see the Arena Bloodworks. This is located right under the Arena.
- Once inside, take the first left and proceed further until you reach the far end of the path.
- Here, speak with a Redguard who goes by the name Owyn. This Orc is the blademaster in the Bloodworks.
- When prompted, choose the option of becoming a combatant. Following that are a few more questions where you get to choose your style of armor and the type of weapons best suited for you.
- You will be assigned as a gladiator for the Blue Team. Understand all the rules you are told. You are now ready.
All Ranks in Arena

The ladder to achieve the greatest heights of this challenge is full of thorns and hardships. That doesn’t necessarily make it impossible. You have to earn your way up the ladder, and that’s when the taste of victory feels more deserving. Let’s take a look at all the levels you have to advance through to finally become the greatest:
- Pit Dog
- Brawler
- Bloodletter
- Myrmidon
- Warrior
- Gladiator
- Hero
- Champion
- Grand Champion
Not only do you receive the title of Grand Champion after winning all the bouts, but you also receive a special reward. These include the Adoring Fan, 1,000 Septim gold coins, and a strong Raiment of Valor. The 1,000 Septim coins are just the reward for the last fight. As you fight through each battle, you will also be receiving additional coins for each victory. Throughout the Arena tournament, you will receive a total of 5,650 Septim coins, making all your efforts count.
