You begin the Origin of the Gray Prince quest in Oblivion by talking to Agronak in the Bloodworks of the Imperial City Arena. Agronak informs you of his noble blood, requesting you to investigate his ties to Lord Lovidicus. He hands you the keys to Crowhaven and asks you to “unlock the truth” to his birthright.
Make your way to Crowhaven, and you will find skeleton enemies in the courtyard. Dispose of the enemies and venture deeper into the fort. As you follow the path, you will stumble across a dead end with a locked door. Use Agronak’s key to pass through, and Lord Lovidicus himself will attack you. Kill the noble and read the journal on his desk to learn the truth about Agronak’s birth. The Gray Prince is the spawn of a vampire, and his ties to evil made him a noble outcast. Return to the Gray Prince and inform him of the truth of his birth to complete the quest.
