As mentioned above, the Prince of Madness Quest is the final quest of the Shivering Isles. The quest becomes available after you complete the End of Order quest, defeat Jyggalag, and listen to his concluding speech.
Completing the Prince of Madness Quest in Oblivion Remastered
The quest will officially grant you the title of the Throne of Madness. To begin, arrive at New Sheoth Palace and locate Haskill, who will be waiting for you near the throne. Interact with him to start a dialogue, during which you will learn about your responsibilities as the ruler of the Shivering Isles.
Interestingly, you are not required to handle every matter personally—you can choose to send your guards to resolve conflicts on your behalf. Additionally, completing these conflicts is not only part of your duty but also comes with rewards. If you resolve a situation yourself, you will earn 1000 Gold; if your guards handle it, the reward is 500.
Rewards of the Prince of Madness Quest in Oblivion Remastered
You will receive the following rewards as the Sheograth monarch:
- Sword of Jyggalag: Pick the sword from behind the throne.
- Sheograth’s Regalia: Received in your inventory after sitting on the throne.
- Additional Perks, Spells and Summons: instant healing from the court healer, the power to manipulate the weather, Sheograth’s Protection, and even the option to summon a dancer for entertainment.
