Once you enter the Oblivion Gate, the only way to get out is to find and activate the Sigil Stone in this plane’s citadel. Continue down the rocks and eliminate the Stunted Scamps along the way. After a short distance, you will locate the Door to the Bowels. Enter the gate, follow the marker, and reach the Oblivion Cave.

Once there, you will find Farwil and a Knight. Upon interacting with them, a conversation will begin in which Farwil refuses to leave the gate until the mission is complete. After the dialogue, proceed through the tower portal to enter the citadel. Now, continue your journey to the tower’s top. Be sure to heal Farwil and the knight periodically if you intend to join the Knights of the Thorn. At the top of the tower, you will find the Sigil Stone. Activate it to close the Oblivion Gate and wrap up the Wayward Knight quest.
