Respec in Outer Worlds 2

As mentioned previously, you cannot respec indefinitely in the game. Subsequently, you can only respec once in the game.
What Does Respec Do and the Prodecure
The Respec feature will let you reset your Traits and Skills. You have a unique choice at the start of the game: either pick one positive Trait and no negative ones or two positive Traits coupled with one negative Trait. The game has a total of 12 Traits.
Moreover, there are 12 Skills. Unlike Traits, you can upgrade all 12 Skills as you operate in Arcadia. However, keep in mind that your chosen Trait(s) at the beginning will influence how well you improve in certain Skills.
You will get your only chance to respec after the Prologue Mission ends. After the title screen, the robot Valerie will speak to you and ask if you wish to respec your character.
Whether you opt for the respec or not, you have to live with the character for the rest of the game. Moreover, you cannot change the appearance or background of your character at any stage of the game.
