Palia recently saw the debut of the Elderwood expansion along with the arrival of the cozy MMO on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. It is a new Adventure Zone for players to explore that is promised to be filled with “magic and mystery.” There are new quests to complete, a fresh mysterious NPC, and plenty more for players to explore. So, where is the Elderwood in Palia, and how do you start off with the new expansion? Let’s figure it out.
Palia: How To Get To Elderwood
The entrance to Elderwood can be found in the B2 square of the map in The Outskirts and northwest of Bahari Bay. The gate is adorned with tree roots, and you will need to interact with it to get to the new Adventure Zone.
The Elderwood Adventure Zone has the following new areas (13, to be exact):
- Central Stables
- Mitana Grove
- Honeymiel Slope
- Lilac Cavern
- Jeunesse Pass
- Deep Woods
- The Fallen Aqueduct
- Red Blossom Cave
- Okanaa Bog
- De Mer Dock
- Vieuxport Sea
- Mauvais Way
- Zendruu Way

You can start off the Elderwood expansion straightaway, provided you have completed the following main story quests:
- ‘Vault of the Waves’
- ‘Vault of the Flames’
- ‘Vault of the Gales’
- ‘Vault of the Roots’
- ‘Troubled Waters’
- ‘Into the Fire’
- ‘Up in the Air’
- ‘Rooted In Place’
Do keep in mind that you may require higher-level equipment to properly explore all that Elderwood has to offer in Palia. There are plenty of new things to explore in the fresh area, and we urge you to check out the full patch notes to learn more about the content.
