How To Find Golden Glory Bee in Palia
The Golden Glory Bee is a rare type of bug that is imported from the Akwindu province. It can only be found by chopping Sapwood trees located around the Kilima Valley. Specifically, the Golden Glory Bee has a chance of appearing when cutting down the medium and large Sapwood trees, especially during the morning and daytime.
Although the Sapwood trees are scattered across the entire Kilima Valley region, you will find them abundantly around the Gillyfin Cove and Leafhopper Hills. While the default Makeshift Axe can let you cut down smaller trees, you will need the upgraded versions, such as the Standard, Fine, and Exquisite, to chop off bigger ones.
With your high-level axe, start chopping off the Sapwood trees around the Kilima Valley, and you will eventually find a Golden Glory Bee pops out from the tree, indicated by a golden exclamation mark.
How To Catch a Golden Glory Bee in Palia
Upon discovering the Golden Glory Bee, your next task is to catch it. While catching bugs can be a relaxing activity, it can also require significant effort. You need a Smoke Bomb to attempt a bug catch. You can either craft them from the Work Table with Clay and a Sundrop Lily or purchase them directly from the General Store for 20 Gold.
Aim and throw the Smoke Bomb at the Golden Glory Bee when it spawns. Make sure to follow and align the bee within your target circle aim. Upon a successful throw, the bug will fall to the ground, allowing you to pick it up. Interact with it to acquire the Golden Glory Bee and add it to your Bug Collection. The Golden Glory Bee often drops Silk thread upon being collected.
