In Path of Exile 2, players used spirit to summon minions, apply buffs to their characters, and more. It is a rare resource, and every player initially has zero spirit; therefore, it becomes a necessity to acquire more spirit while adventuring in the game. Players can acquire spirit through various ways, but knowing them is the key.

What Is Spirit?
Spirit is a resource used for summoning minions, applying aura, or buffing the character. Witch class skills use the most amount of spirit, and even if players have chosen a class that does not have summon spells, they still need spirit to use buff gems or metagems. Therefore, spirit is a very important aspect of Path of Exile 2.
How To Increase Spirit
Players can increase their maximum spirit by any of the following methods:
Defeat Bosses
When defeated, bosses drop spirit-boosting items. Even some bosses drop powerful items that permanently boost the stats of the character. Players need to defeat Act 1 boss King of the Mist, which drops Gembloom Skull. It is used to increase base spirit by +30. Additionally, players need to defeat Ignaduk the Bog Witch in Act 3 to get the Gemrot Skull, which increases the spirit by +30.
Gear With Buffs
In Path of Exile 2, weapons and armor have different skills or effects that can help in boosting spirit. Equipping a sceptre can increase the spirit by a whopping +100. Players can obtain sceptres in the early game, and it can also roll “+spirit” affixes, making it more valuable.
Become an Infernalist
The Infernalist ascendancy for the Witch class can boost the character’s spirit. It has a skill, Beidat’s Will, which grants +1 spirit for every 25 maximum life. However, trading health for spirit can be a risky move, but players can increase their lives too by using life-boosting skills.
