They usually appear on campfires while climbing the Roots Biome. However, they don’t always appear in these containers. This makes them quite rare.

Where To Find Hot Dogs in Peak
Hot dogs are consumables that only spawn in campfires in the Roots Biome in Peak. However, there is a chance that a campfire will only spawn a marshmallow. This means you will need to keep looking for more campfires if you want to get your hands on some hot dogs to eat. Nevertheless, there is a way to find this food item in the game seamlessly.
Each player has a chance to spawn either a marshmallow or a hot dog at the campfire. This means that playing with your friends will increase the chances of one of you finding a hot dog. This strategy works best if you are playing with four other players. Your friends can then share their hot dogs with you so you can get three as soon as possible. However, you need to be on the lookout for dangers while exploring the Roots biome. Fungal zombies can spawn and walk around the map. They will chase you if they spot you, and their bites can be infectious.
How To Get the Competitive Eating Badge in Peak
To complete the Competitive Eating Badge in Peak, you need to stack up on at least three Hot Dogs. Keep visiting campfires and checking for this food item, and keep it until you have enough. After getting three hot dogs, put one in each of your hotbar slots.
The next thing you need to do is to eat all three hot dogs in less than five seconds. If you continuously eat all three, you should be able to unlock the Competitive Eating Badge immediately. If you don’t place them in your hot bar beforehand, you’ll have to keep opening your inventory, which can waste a lot of time. When you miss the timer, you will have to do it again, wasting precious hot dogs that are crucial for surviving the Root Biome, as it replenishes stamina.
After completing the achievement, you get the Competitive Eating Badge. Afterward, completing the run will reward you with the Drinking Cap cosmetic.
