Unlock the High Altitude badge/accolade in PEAK to complete achievements and unlock the headband accessory for your character.

PEAK is all about planning your climb and scaling to the very top of the island. You can play this game on your own or with the help of friends, helping each other and sharing resources. Out of the many achievements in the game, one of them involves climbing a certain number of meters overall through your multiple journeys combined.
In this article, we will explore how to unlock the High Altitude badge/accolade and headband in PEAK.
Unlock High Altitude Badge/Accolade in PEAK

Unlocking the High Altitude badge/accolade in PEAK requires scaling a total of 5,000 meters through collective climbs. The meters are not calculated based on how far you travel but only on how many meters you climb upward. It is not possible to earn this during a single journey, as a typical climb averages around 1,500 meters in height. So, you will need to play at least three full games and then another partial game to meet the requirement for this badge.
There are various measures you can take to ensure that your climbs are successful. If you die midway or are unable to complete a certain climb, it will only increase the number of games you need to play to get this badge. You can choose to play this mode both solo and with friends, but the meters only count based on how high you climb, not your teammates.
Tips To Keep in Mind for This Badge
- Avoid resting at camps unless absolutely necessary. Check luggage boxes for important items to help with your climb.
- Collect items like magic beans, shelf shrooms, scout effigy, energy drinks, and ropes.
- Carry lanterns or flares to help your climb during nighttime.
