Unlock the Knot Tying badge/accolade in PEAK to complete achievements and unlock the ribbon bow cosmetic for your character.

The game PEAK is all about scaling the heights of an island to reach the absolute peak point. Given all the climbing and scaling, one of the most important gear to keep handy is the rope. That is, unless you are trophy hunting and the game requires that you don’t use certain items. But if not, for completing another achievement, using ropes is a necessity.
In this article, we will explore how to unlock the knot tying badge/accolade and ribbon bow cosmetic in PEAK.
Unlock Knot Tying Badge/Accolade in PEAK

Using ropes is highly encouraged in the game, especially due to a specific achievement condition revolving around the maximum use of each. A single rope stretches across 12 meters in length if you use it completely. So this means you will need to use at least 9 ropes in order to complete 100 meters of length, which is the condition for unlocking the knot tying badge/accolade.

To good thing, however, is that you do not need to find all this rope in a single run. You can do this across multiple runs, both solo and with friends, and still be able to unlock the badge and cosmetics. Now, these items are one of the easier to find gears in PEAK. You can use this list to see where you can find ropes in PEAK.
Where to Find Rope in PEAK
Where to find | How to claim |
Campsites | These are the most common sources. You will find all gear, like rope stools and rope cannons, in luggages or tents. |
Luggages | These can be seen around climbing routes and checkpoint areas. |
Scutmaster | The scutmaster may help offer ropes during the initial tutorial stage. This will likely take place during the early phase of the game. |
Capybara | The capybaras will be ready to trade items with you if you offer them winterberries. You can find the mat hot springs, and sometimes they may just cough up some rope if you’re lucky. |
