Currently, only a 20-second video is available for the Mesa update of the game. The developers’ video shows characters running through a desert environment, with Bing Bong getting stuck on a cactus. Based on this, many players have speculated that a new biome may be added to the game.

Although the trailer did not include any information to confirm this speculation, a comment on the official social media account of Aggro Crab, where the trailer was also posted, raised an interesting question:

“Will the biome replace one of the current biomes entirely, will they rotate, or will it just be added so we have one more biome to go through?”

In response, the developers confirmed that the Alpine biome will be swapped with the Desert biome. Additionally, during the first week of the update, the Mesa biome will appear every day, after which the two biomes will rotate as part of the map rotation system.

Additionally, the caption of the reel reads: New biome, new items, new badges, dynamite. This suggests that the introduction of the new biome will also bring new achievements. Toward the end of the trailer, you can also see a tornado, which may be a hint at a new environmental hazard in the game.

However, these are all just speculations, and there is no confirmation yet. Therefore, we will have to wait for the official update or news to learn the exact details.

That was all about the Peak Mesa Update.
