Among all the different animals you can find in PEAK, one such animal you will stumble upon in the snowy mountain regions is the Capybara. One of the main reasons to find this rodent creature is to complete a certain trophy/achievement. Not only that, but the quest also entices you to engage in various side quests along the path.
In this article, we will be looking at how you can find the Capybara in PEAK.
Finding Capybara in PEAK
The co-op survival game will have you venture out into the wild to explore the land in all its glory. The quest at hand is to reach the absolute peak of the mountain and rest. You will also engage with various other animals and side quests as you venture further. The Capybaras in question are the animals you will locate in the Alpine zone. It is, however, important to note that the exact location is subject to change with the emergence of new islands.
One key method through which you can find them is by looking for steam trails rising from across the mountains. Once you climb to a certain height, the smoke trails will be easier to spot. Follow the trail to eventually reach the location. Depending upon your luck, you will either find the Capybara or just begin a new search.
There is also an easy way to do this. While this method is not ideal, it does get the job done. On the official PEAK Discord server, the location for the Capybara will be added by users in the ‘#Spoilers channel.’ All you have to do is type in your ask and wait for someone to share the new location with you. Now, follow the trail, and you will find the hideout of the Capybaras. You can also play the bugle and unlock the ‘Animal Serenading Badge’ trophy/achievement in PEAK, if you have not already.
