Allegations surfaced against Twitch streamer Pirate Software, accusing him of grooming and exploiting a 16-year-old artist Wingless Emoto.

A video made bold claims against Twitch streamer Jason “Thor,” also known as “Pirate Software,” accusing him of grooming and exploiting a 16-year-old artist, “Wingless Emoto,” during their collaboration in the virtual world of Second Life.
Second Life is a multiplayer MMORPG, which allows users to create an avatar and interact with other players in the game. A video titled ‘Content Nuke: Pirate Software‘ was uploaded on YouTube which alleged that Jason exploited Wingless.
According to the YouTuber, the streamer ran a company called Darksphere, where he sold “sexually charged” images. Wingless Emoto was one of the employees who allegedly designed the explicit images. After Wingless had not posted any images for a while, the streamer fired them from the company.
The video showcased the chat logs of Maldavius Figtree, an avatar of Pirate on Second Life. Allegedly, Jason also reported Wingless on Second Life for being underage. According to the chat logs showcased in the video, Pirate Software met up with Emoto.
Another post on X also called out Pirate Software for the allegations. The YouTuber in his video stated:
“After their falling out, PirateSoftware allegedly reported her for being underage to Second Life, which could be seen as an attempt to retaliate or cover his tracks rather than a genuine concern for legal compliance, given he was aware of her age beforehand“

Pirate Software and Wingless Emoto Respond to the Allegations
After the allegations surfaced on X, both Pirate Software and Wingless Emoto responded to the claims. Wingless Emoto, now known as MaimFace, debunked the allegations, stating that “nothing sexual happened.” They also clarified that they were 17, not 16, when they worked with Pirate Software. MaimFace shared examples of their artwork, refuting the claim that it was “sexually charged,” and added:
“I’m wingless emoto, I really was 17, and nothing sexual happened. If anything had happened, I would have outed him in 2008. Also these avatars are not “sexually explicit””

Pirate Software also responded via Discord messages, which he later shared on Twitter. He stated that he and MaimFace have been best friends for nearly 20 years and that they reconciled 4–5 years after their initial falling out. Pirate explained that their dispute was over payment splits, leading Wingless to open-source their work.
He also denied that Wingless was ever fired, stating that they left voluntarily.
“We had a falling out over pay splits and Wingless open sourced our work. They were never “fired”, they quit on their own and did this on the way out. Tabloids at the time did what tabloids do. They made extreme and idiotic statements. Those tabloids still exist and people are digging them up now. Maim and I made up like 4-5 years later.”
You mean the shit both @MaimFace, who is Wingless Emoto, and I refuted half a year ago and now have to again because terminally online children like you just discovered the internet and believe everything they see?
