Pogchamps 6 is an upcoming chess tournament featuring popular Twitch streamers and celebrities competing for $100,000.

Chess.com has announced its next major chess event featuring Twitch streamers that kicks off on April 29, 2025. PogChamps 6 is the sixth event in the series, and it will feature ten Twitch streamers and two celebrity entrants who will face off against each other for a share of the $100,000 prize pool.
The upcoming event will last four days and follow a Time Control format for quick matches. Some of the streamers participating in PogChamps 6 include Ludwig Ahgren, Benjamin “Dr Lupo” Lupo, and Leslie “Fuslie” Ann Fu.
PogChamps 6 will also feature two celebrity participants, Eberechi “Ebere” Eze and Stephen Nedoroscik, who will appear on PogChamps for the first time. Ezere is a football (soccer) player who plays as an attacking midfielder for Crystal Palace F.C. in England. Nedoroscik is an American gymnast who is a two-time National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) champion.
PogChamps 6 Format and Prize Pool Breakdown
PogChamps 6 will feature a round-robin stage with two brackets. All players in each bracket will face off against each other for the most points. The qualifying players will then move to the Knockout stage.

The games will follow a Time Control format, with players getting up to 15 minutes each to finish a match. If entering a tiebreaker, an extra eight-minute match will decide the winner. Here is how the prize pool will be distributed:
Championship Bracket ($62,000)
- 1st Place (Grand Winner): $20,000
- 2nd Place: $14,000
- 3rd Place: $8,000 (two players)
- 5th Place: $6,000 (two players)
Consolation Bracket ($38,000)
- 1st Place: $10,000
- 2nd Place: $8,000
- 3rd Place: $6,000 (two players)
- 5th Place: $4,000 (two players)
