Nickit, the Fox Pokemon, is making its first appearance in Pokemon GO. You can evolve it into Thievul using 50 Nickit Candy. Keep an eye out in the wild and Eggs to add this new Pokemon to your collection.

Wild Encounters

Certain Pokemon will be easier to find during this event. The following will appear more frequently in the wild:

  • Murkrow
  • Sneasel
  • Corphish
  • Clamperl
  • Purrloin
  • Female Frillish
  • Clauncher

Nickit may also be found, though it will be a rarer encounter. If luck is on your side, you might catch some of these in their Shiny forms.

Hatching Pokemon

Trainers who prefer hatching Eggs should focus on 7 km Eggs. The Pokemon hatching from these include:

  • Galarian Corsola
  • Pawniard
  • Clauncher
  • Nickit

As with wild spawns, the odds of hatching a Shiny Clauncher are higher than usual.

Field Research Task Rewards

By completing event-themed Field Research tasks, you can earn encounters with select Pokemon. These tasks will be available throughout the event, offering extra chances to find Pokemon featured in Deep Depths.

Timed Research Opportunities

A paid Timed Research option will also be available for $2.00 (or your local currency equivalent). This version includes extra rewards:

  • Two Super Incubators
  • One Star Piece
  • Encounters with Clauncher and Nickit

Trainers can purchase this research for themselves or as a gift for friends at the Great Friends level or higher. All tasks and rewards must be claimed before the event ends on March 24, 2025, at 8:00 p.m. local time.

Collection Challenges

There will be event-specific Collection Challenges that focus on catching and evolving Pokemon. Completing these will grant XP, Stardust, and encounters with featured Pokemon.
