Aqua Breed Paldean Tauros is making its way into Pokemon GO during the Stunning Styles event. This special form will be available for a limited time, so knowing how to catch it is important.
The Stunning Styles event is starting on Thursday, April 3, 2025, at 10 am local time and will last until Monday, April 7, 2025, at 8 pm local time. Aqua Breed joins Combat Breed and Blaze Breed Paldean Tauros as new additions during this event.
How To Get Aqua Breed Paldean Tauros in Pokemon GO
You have two main ways to add Aqua Breed Paldean Tauros to your collection:
1) 3-Star Raids
Aqua Breed Paldean Tauros will appear in Gyms as a 3-star raid boss. However, its availability is limited to the Western Hemisphere. This includes North and South America, the UK, parts of Spain and Portugal, and some regions in Western Africa.
Facing this Pokemon in a raid means dealing with a powerful opponent. It has over 19,000 CP as a raid boss and uses strong Charged Attacks. Choosing the right counters is crucial. Grass-, Electric-, Flying-, Psychic-, and Fairy-type Pokemon will have the best advantage.
Players can challenge these raids in person or with Remote Raid Passes.
CP Ranges from Raids
- Without a weather boost: Between 1,546 and 1,621 CP at level 20 (IVs from 10/10/10 to 15/15/15).
- With a weather boost (Rainy or Cloudy): Between 1,932 and 2,026 CP at level 25 (IVs from 10/10/10 to 15/15/15).
2) Trading for Aqua Breed Paldean Tauros
If you cannot participate in raids, trading is another option. You will need an in-game friend who has caught one. If you already have the original Kanto Tauros in your Pokedex, the trade will not count as a Special Trade, making it easier to exchange.

Can Aqua Breed Paldean Tauros Be Shiny?
A shiny version of Aqua Breed Paldean Tauros is not available as of April 2025. There is no confirmed date for its future release.
