Blaze Breed Paldean Tauros is making its way into Pokemon GO as part of the Stunning Styles event. This Fire/Fighting-type variant will be available for a limited time, along with its Combat and Aqua Breed counterparts. If you’re looking to add it to your collection, there are two reliable methods to do so.
How To Get Blaze Breed Paldean Tauros in Pokemon GO?
Blaze Breed Paldean Tauros has been available in Pokemon GO from 10 am local time on April 3, 2025, and will last till 8 pm local time on April 7, 2025. You can find it through 3-star raids or by trading with another trainer.
3-Star Raids
This variant will appear in raids across the Eastern Hemisphere, covering regions like Europe, Africa, Asia, and Oceania. With 19,470 CP, the battle is manageable for seasoned trainers, but those with lower-level teams may need help. Since it has weaknesses to Flying-, Ground-, Psychic-, and Water-type moves, counters like Mewtwo, Swampert, and Rayquaza will work well.
Remote Raid Passes allow participation from a distance, and a full lobby of up to 20 trainers can join forces to defeat it. Once the raid ends, captured specimens will have the following CP ranges:
- Base CP range: 1,546 – 1,621 (level 20, IVs spanning 10/10/10 to 15/15/15)
- Boosted by Sunny/Clear or Cloudy weather: 1,932 – 2,026 CP (level 25, IVs spanning 10/10/10 to 15/15/15)
Trade
If raiding isn’t an option, trading is the next best route. This is particularly useful for trainers in the Western Hemisphere, where Blaze Breed Paldean Tauros won’t appear in raids. If Kantonian Tauros is already in your Pokedex, the trade will count as a regular exchange instead of a special one, making it more accessible.

Can Blaze Breed Paldean Tauros Be Shiny in Pokemon GO?
A shiny version of this Pokemon will not be available during its initial release. The feature will be introduced later, but Niantic has not shared an exact date. Based on previous releases, the shiny form will likely arrive at least a year after the debut.
