The Totodile Community Day Classic will start on Saturday, March 22, 2025. From 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time, Totodile will take the spotlight in Pokemon GO’s Community Day Classic.

Pokemon GO Totodile Community Day Classic
During this three-hour event, Totodile will be easier to find in the wild. You may even be lucky enough to encounter its Shiny version. If you’re looking to expand your collection, this is the perfect opportunity.
Exclusive Move for Feraligatr
If you evolve Croconaw before March 29, 2025, at 10:00 p.m. local time you will get Feraligatr that learns Hydro Cannon. This move has 80 power in Trainer Battles and 90 power in Gyms and Raids.
Special Research Ticket
For $2.00 (or local currency equivalent), a Special Research ticket will be available. Complete this research to get various rewards, including a Premium Battle Pass, a Rare Candy XL, and extra Totodile encounters. Some of these will feature a Seasonal Special Background. You can also gift this ticket to friends at the Great Friends level or higher.
Time-Limited Research Opportunity
If you log in during the event, you will receive a Timed Research challenge. Complete tasks before March 29, 2025, at 10:00 p.m. local time to increase the chances of finding a Shiny Totodile. It also allows time to evolve Croconaw for Hydro Cannon.
Event Bonuses
Hatching Eggs will require only one-fourth of the usual distance when placed in Incubators. Lure Modules and Incense (excluding Daily Adventure Incense) will remain active for three hours. Take snapshots during the event to get surprises.

Field Research and PokeStop Showcases
Event-themed Field Research will reward you with Stardust, Great Balls, and Totodile encounters. You may come across PokeStop Showcases featuring Totodile.
