A Haunting Experience is Side Mission 95 in Pokemon Legends Z-A, and it puts your Ghost-type skills to the test. You will only get access to this quest once you reach Main Mission 35 and earn Rank A.
You will meet Male on the rooftop of the Justice Dojo in Jaune District, Sector 6. Getting to him depends on how much you have explored the area so far.
The easy way is through the Holovator located near the dojo. You can use it only after finishing Side Mission 56, We will Just Muscle Our Way Through. If you skipped that quest, there is another route. Head to Jaune Sector 2, climb the ladder, and jump across rooftops until you reach the dojo.
How To Finish A Haunting Experience Quest in Pokemon Legends Z-A
Male will challenge you to a Ghost-type-only battle. His lineup includes Trevenant, Gourgeist, Sableye, and Gengar, all around Level 57 to 58.
Before you start the fight, have a solid team of Ghost-types. You can go for options like Aegislash, Chandelure, Gengar, Trevenant, Gourgeist, or Mega Banette. If you do not already have strong ones, catch them in areas such as Wild Zone 4, Wild Zone 15, or the Lumiose Sewers.
If you want to save some effort, try to catch Alpha Ghost-types. They spawn at higher levels, usually between 47 and 53, and are almost ready for battle right away. Alpha Banette and Alpha Gourgeist can be found in Wild Zone 15, while Alpha Trevenant appears in Wild Zone 13 at night.
In battle, focus on Ghost and Dark-type attacks. Moves like Shadow Ball, Shadow Claw, and Phantom Force are very effective. Once you manage to beat Male, the side quest will be complete.
A Haunting Experience Quest Rewards in Pokemon Legends Z-A
Once you win the battle, you will get 4,444 Poke Dollars and a Spell Tag. The Spell Tag increases the damage of Ghost-type moves by about 20 percent, making it useful for any Ghost-type specialist.
