A Rematch With Hawlucha is Side Mission 59 in Pokemon Legends Z-A.
This quest unlocks later in the story, so you will probably have a strong enough team to handle it easily. It is not a short or early side mission, but one that adds meaning to Hawlucha’s story and your connection with Dora.
You can start this quest after completing Main Mission 20: A Request from the Rust Syndicate. Once that part of the story is done, head to Magenta Sector 3. Dora will be waiting on the rooftops near Magenta Plaza.
To reach her, take the holovator at the corner of Estival Avenue and climb across the rooftops. The area has some tricky jumps, so take your time while moving from one platform to another. When you find Dora, she will explain that Hawlucha has been staring over the city as if looking for another strong opponent. That is your cue to step in.
How To Complete A Rematch With Hawlucha in Pokemon Legends Z-A
After speaking with Dora, you will be asked to face Hawlucha again. The battle begins right there on the rooftop. Hawlucha is at Level 45, and this time it fights in its normal form, not as a Mega Evolution.
Hawlucha is a Fighting and Flying-type Pokemon, which means it is weak against Electric, Ice, Psychic, Fairy, and Flying-type attacks. It resists Fighting moves and is immune to Ground-type attacks, so plan your lineup carefully.
A Gardevoir is one of the best options for this fight. Its Fairy and Psychic typing gives it both offensive and defensive coverage against Hawlucha. You can also use Pokemon like Jolteon, Togekiss, or Froslass to make the battle smoother.
Hawlucha tends to hit fast and hard, so focus on quick, super-effective moves to keep it under control. Once you bring its HP down, the fight ends, and Dora thanks you for helping Hawlucha find peace again.
