This Pokemon Legends Z-A walkthrough will take you, from start to finish, through the Abuzz About Bug Types side quest in the game.
Pokemon Legends Z-A has several different types of Pokemon for you to find, and the game’s Abuzz About Bug Type side quest is one that highlights the proficiency of the often-neglected Bug-type Pokemon. In this quest, you come across a trainer named Constance who specializes in Bug-type Pokemon. Her sole reliance on this type is a strategy she’s quite proud of, and now wishes to put to use against you.
Constance is a difficult fight, and one that may catch you off-guard if you’re not ready for it. How To Begin Abuzz About Bug Types in Pokemon Legends Z-A
Starting Location
You begin this quest by talking to Constance in a Battle Court in Rouge Sector 4. This court is directly south of Wild Zone 13. Take note that you’ll only find her here after you’re done with Main Mission 35, Reaching Rank A. Go through that quest, and come to the Battle Court to find Constance. Speak to Constance, and she’ll challenge you to a battle out of nowhere.
Constance has determined that you’re an excellent trainer, and she wishes to use one single type of Pokemon against you: the Bug-type. Wrap this conversation up to begin the quest.

Fighting Constance
Talk to Constance to begin the battle. She uses the following Pokemon against you:
- Beedrill (Level 57)
- Ariados (Level 57)
- Scyther (Level 57)
- Heracross (Level 58)
- Mega Pinsir (Level 58)
As you can see, all of these Pokemon are at Level 57 or above. You have to be around this level before you take on this fight. Apart from matching the level of your opponent’s Pokemon, you also have to pick out a roster that actively counters them.
Bug-type Pokemon are weak to Fire, Flying, and Rock-type Pokemon. For this reason, we suggest bringing in the following roster:
- Mega Emboar
- Mega Houndoom
- Mega Skarmory
- Mega Barbaracle
- Mega Aerodactyl
These Pokemon should help you exploit the weaknesses of Constance’s Pokemon and help you achieve victory. Once the battle is done, the quest will wrap up, rewarding you with the following:
- 2,500 Poke Dollars
- 5x Exp. Candy M
- 1x Scope Lens
