Held Items help increase the effectiveness of your Pokemon in Legends Z-A. However, some of these items have their own downsides to balance their positive effects. Some increase the stats of your Pokémon but lower their speed. Meanwhile, other Held Items add a small effect in combat with no downsides. Needless to say, you will need them if you want to further improve your Pokemon’s effectiveness in any way.
