Jolteon is an Electric-type Pokemon first introduced in Generation I. As the fastest Eeveelution and the fastest non-Mega Pokemon in the meta (tied with Aerodactyl), Jolteon has a useful role in the meta. Especially if you aren’t willing to run an Electric-type Mega Evolution like Manectric or Eelektross.
Best Jolteon Moveset in Pokemon Legends Z-A
These are the moves you want to use on your Jolteon if you plan on using it in battle.
- Thunder
- Electroweb
- Volt Switch
- Fake Tears
Jolteon can utilize its high Speed to get around the battlefield fast. Additionally, Electric is a useful type against common meta threats like Greninja, Gyarados, and Slowbro as it can deal super effective damage to them.
Thunder is one of the best Electric-type moves for Jolteon to use, which it learns at level 50. Electroweb is a useful move that slows down the opponent’s Pokemon, while Volt Switch is useful for repositioning away from a powerful opponent. The former can be taught by TM101, which you can get in Bleu Sector 7, while the latter is TM066, which is rewarded to you by Canari after you beat her in the main mission “Reaching Rank E.” Finally, Fake Tears is useful for lowering the Special Defense of an opposing Pokemon which Jolteon learns at Level 45.
The Magnet is a useful held item for Jolteon since three of its moves are Electric-type and benefit from STAB. You can get it from the side mission “Apartment Block Eeriness.”
Best Jolteon Nature in Pokemon Legends Z-A
A Modest nature (+SpA, -Atk) suits Jolteon best. This Eeveelution is capable of moving fast in Legends Z-A due to how Speed works, so boosting its Special Attack will help it deal more damage. You can get a Modest Mint from a vendor in Rouge Sector 1.
Jolteon Stats and Location
You can get an Eevee in Wild Zone 19, Bleu Sector 7, Jaune District, Magenta District, Rouge Sector 8, and Vert Sector 9. Evolve it with a Thunder Stone which you can buy from the Stone Emporium for $3,000.
