This tier list will rank some of the best Physical Attackers in Pokemon Legends Z-A so you can determine who is the perfect fit for your team.
Damaging moves in Pokemon are split into the two halves of Physical and Special. Depending on whether a move is Physical or Special, it will use different stats for damage calculation. They can also interact differently with certain moves and abilities.
Because of these differences, certain Pokemon are better suited to being Physical attackers while others focus on Special attacks. In general, a good Physical Pokemon will need high Attack and powerful moves. Based on these criteria, this tier list will rank the best Physical Attackers in Pokemon Legends Z-A.
Disclaimer: This tier list will not take every Pokemon in the game into account. Instead, it will only look at the strongest Physical attackers in comparison to each other.

These are some of the most powerful Physical attackers in Pokemon Legends Z-A. Some other Pokemon may have stats on par with or greater than some of the Pokemon on this list. However, they may be held back by a relatively worse stat spread or a lack of good moves. You can use any other Pokemon as your team requires.
S Tier
These are the best Physical attackers in Legends Z-A. They deal extremely high damage, while having good moves and survivability.

| Garchomp | 130 Attack. Garchomp has one of the strongest offensive typings alongside extremely powerful moves such as Earthquake and Dragon Rush. It is already very strong in its base form, but with its Mega Evolution, it becomes an absolute monster. |
| Gyarados | 125 Attack. Gyarados is among the best Pokemon in Legends Z-A. Having very high stats normally, it becomes completely unstoppable after Mega Evolving. It has extremely powerful moves, extremely high Attack, and good defense to top it off. |
| Metagross | 135 Attack. Much like Garchomp, Metagross is very powerful even without Mega Evolution. It can deal huge amounts of damage while taking very little thanks to its amazing defense. Mega Evolution makes it nearly invincible while also increasing its power further. |
| Excadrill | 135 Attack. Excadrill has an excellent type combination, very high attack, and powerful moves. With Mega Evolution, all of this is pushed further, and it becomes the bane of all Fairy-types. |
| Tyranitar | 134 Attack. Tyranitar has access to some very powerful moves like Crunch and Stone Edge. These, coupled with its huge Attack, which only grows with Mega Evolution, make it one of the best Physical Attackers. |
| Heracross | 125 Attack. While Heracross’s Stats are not that impressive normally, its Attack post Mega Evolution is the highest in the game. The immensely high Attack coupled with powerful moves like Megahorn, makes Heracross one of the best Physical attackers. |
A Tier
These are the Pokemon that are very strong Physical attackers but have a few weaknesses holding them back.

| Lucario | 110 Attack. Lucario is a Pokemon that can work as both a Special and Physical attacker (with a slight advantage towards Special). But with Mega Evolution, it becomes weighted more towards Physical attacks. And with this significant boost, it becomes a real powerhouse, regardless of how you use it. |
| Starmie | 100 Attack. Starmie is not normally a Physical Attacker. But its Mega Evolution switches things up. It subsequently becomes one of the hardest-hitting and well-rounded Physical attackers in the game. |
| Feraligatr | 105 Attack. Feraligatr is somewhat lackluster in base. However, its Attack stat post Mega Evolution is a whopping 160. For a starter Pokemon, it is exceptionally powerful and a good Physical attacker. |
| Gallade | 125 Attack. Gallade has powerful Psychic and Fighting-type moves, and high Attack (which is even higher after Mega Evolution). While it is a little frail, that is its only real flaw. |
B Tier
These are the B-Tier Physical Attackers in Legends Z-A. These are by no means weak and can definitely match those in the higher tiers, but have some flaws lowering their rankings.

| Scizor | 130 Attack. Scizor, and especially Mega Scizor, hit hard. Very hard. And its typing affords it many, many resistances. But its one flaw is its 4x weakness to Fire. A single Fire-type attack(which is pretty common) will likely see it removed from the fight. |
| Salamence | 135 Attack. Salamence has a very good stat spread. In fact, it has almost no weaknesses (stat-wise). But the one caveat holding it back is its lack of good Flying-type moves. It learns a few Physical Flying moves. And the lack of abilities in Legends Z-A significantly dampens its damage output. Lastly, it has a 4x weakness to Ice. |
