Best Pinsir Moveset in Pokemon Legends Z-A
- Swords Dance
- X-Scissor
- Lunge
- Aerial Ace
Swords Dance is the first move on this list. Pinsir already has an extremely high Attack stat. With this move, it climbs even higher to ludicrous levels. The rest of Pinsir’s kit is also Physical-based, so Swords Dance boosts the damage of the rest of your moves.
Lunge should be your first attacking move. This move has the same power as X-Scissor and comes with an additional effect. It is guaranteed to drop the Attack stat of whichever Pokemon you use it on. So, you can use it to mitigate some damage in the future.
X-Scissor is also another strong Bug-type move you should be using. However, it does not have any additional effect like Lunge. This move is there to utilize Pinsir’s high Attack stat, and then get a further Same Type Attack Boost (STAB).
Lastly, Aerial Ace will round out the moveset. Pinsir is also a Flying-type Pokemon, which will give Aerial Ace a STAB bonus. On top of this, it is the only Flying-type move that Pinsir can learn. This makes it the only good Flying move for this Pokemon.
Best Pinsir Nature in Pokemon Legends Z-A
The best nature for Pinsir would undoubtedly have you lower its Special Attack. Not only is it the lowest stat, but Pinsir itself has no use for it. Therefore, you should buy Nature Mints (or pick them up while exploring) to change their Nature into one of the following:
- Adamant (+Atk/-SpA)
- Careful (+SpD/-SpA)
You cannot go wrong with even more Attack. While Careful will let you shore up your Special Defense slightly so that Pinsir is not defensively weak.
