For example, if a Shiny Pidgey spawns on a roof, and you cannot get to it right now, don’t worry. The game will save that Pidgey in that state for you to come back later and catch. However, if you do attempt to catch it once, or fight it and it escapes, then it will de-spawn once you leave the area.

So, make sure not to trigger any interactions with a Shiny Pokemon you are not ready to catch.

Shiny Charm

The Shiny Charm is the single best item in the game for Shiny Hunting. This is because it significantly increases the chances of having a Shiny Pokemon spawn near you.

You can get this item through the final reward from Mable’s Research Rewards. Therefore, it will take some time, but the payoff is well worth the wait.

Shiny Odds
