These are the best Fighting-types in Pokemon Legends Z-A, with each of them earning a spot on your team:

PokemonReasoning
LucarioBST (Base Stat Total): 525. Mega Lucario is an amazing mixed attacker. It has a wide movepool which it can utilize well making it an unpredictable threat.
ChesnaughtBST: 530. Even with a 4x weakness to Flying, Mega Chesnaught has extremely high Defense making it an amazing physical wall.
HeracrossBST: 500. Another powerful physical attacker that hits extremely hard. The absence of its Ability Skill Link is not an issue given how multi-hit moves work in this game.

A-Tier

These Pokemon have some flaws but could be considered for a spot on your team with a little support:

PokemonReasoning
GalladeBST: 518. Mega Gallade’s has well rounded stats as well as a high Attack stat. It also has decent coverage moves like Night Slash for Ghost-types
LopunnyBST: 480. Upon Mega Evolution, Lopunny gets an added Fighting-type. Sadly it does not have its Ability Scrappy to hit Ghost-types with its STABs.
BarbaracleBST: 500. Rock/Fighting is a deceptively great STAB combo. However, Mega Barbaracle may struggle to outspeed its opponents.
HawluchaBST: 500. Mega Hawlucha has a nice dual typing and access to decent STAB moves. However, without an Ability, it stats might not make it worth Mega Evolving.

B-Tier

These Pokemon have quite a few flaws but can be used of the team is built around supporting them:

PokemonReasoning
EmboarBST: 528. Mega Emboar has decent Attack and special bulk. Its low movement Speed and physical defense may make it susceptible to being taken out quickly.
ScraftyBST: 488. Gets decent bulk and a respectable Attack stat after Mega Evolving. However, it is slow and a 4x weakness to Fairy-types is not helping it.

C-Tier

These Pokemon are not necessarily terrible but are just outclassed by the others:

PokemonReasoning
PangoroBST: 495. Outclassed by every Pokemon before this tier with a Mega Evolution. Also has a 4x weakness to Fairy.
MedichamBST: 410. Loses the Attack boost from its Ability Pure Power. Despite get a small boost to its Attack, it is not worth using.
MachampBST: 505. Just like Pangoro, Machamp is outclassed by every other Mega Evolving Fighting-type Pokemon.
FalinksBST: 470. Despite being one of the more creative new Mega Evolutions, Mega Falinks’ stats leave it outclassed by other Megas
