Nature in Pokemon Legends Z-A represents the innate trait of a Pokemon that slightly increases one stat while simultaneously decreasing another. Depending on the role you want a Pokemon on your roster to take, you can min-max its stats by changing its Nature to your desired one.
You can change the Nature of a Pokemon by using Mints. Using a Mint on a Pokemon will change the Nature buffs to the one specified. There are multiple ways to acquire Mints, and they apply to any Pokemon, regardless of type or rarity.
Pokemon Legends Z-A: Nature Guide
The Nature of a Pokemon is its trait, described by an adjective such as Sassy, Gentle, or Careful. Each Nature alters two stats, increasing one while decreasing the other. To change the Nature of a Pokemon:
- Open your inventory and select a Mint with the Nature you require.
- Press the use button on the Mint and choose the Pokemon you want to apply it to.
- The Pokemon’s stat boosts will change according to the Mint.

Where To Get Nature Mints in Pokemon Legends Z-A?
There are two main areas where you can find Mints to change a Pokemon’s nature:
- Rouge Sector 1
- Vert Sector 6
Rouge Sector 1 is located west of Wild Zone 3. Here, you’ll find four stalls selling most of the Nature Mints available in Pokemon Legends Z-A. The price of one Nature Mint is 20,000 Poke Dollars. If the sum required to purchase a Mint seems too high, you can refer to our Money Guide for the game to quickly earn more.
To find the Timid, Hasty, Jolly, and Naive Nature Mints, you’ll have to venture to Vert Sector 6. You’ll find the Mint stall north of Restaurant Le Nah. It has a smaller selection than the Rouge Sector 1 stalls but offers the aforementioned Mints that they don’t. There are some other stalls across the city that sell Nature Mints, but these two areas provide all the Mints you need.
