Jacinthe in Pokemon Legends Z-A is quite the eccentric personality, and one that places herself on a pedestal when it comes to all matters. When it comes to your Rank C promotion match, you have no choice but to knock her off her pedestal so you can move up to Rank B. Jacinthe, however, does not make the task easy. Before you can get to your promotion match, you have to run through a gauntlet of your past opponents in a tournament.
When you’re finally done with them all, you then have an unexpected battle with Zygarde. Only then do you get your hands on Jacinthe. Jacinthe has a diverse team, making her a bit difficult to read. Thankfully, this guide is here to walk you through that fight and get you the promotion you deserve.
How To Defeat Jacinthe in Pokemon Legends Z-A
Your ascent through Rank C and push for Rank B begins after you’re done dealing with Rogue Mega Froslass, Rogue Mega Altaria, and Rogue Mega Venusaur. After this, you have to deal with a comically aggressive Lebanne, and you’ll then be invited over to Jacinthe’s tournament.
You have to run through the tournament, defeat Canari, Ivor, and Corbeau. After that, you have to fight off against Zygarde, and then you can finally have your promotion match with Jacinthe. It is quite a long road, and the gauntlet of opponents can be exhausting.

Counters To Jacinthe’s Team
For the most part, Jacinthe’s team is comprised of Rock and Fairy-type Pokemon. Both of these types are weak to Steel-type attacks, so that’s what we’re going to use to our advantage in the promotion match. We suggest bringing a roster comprising Mega Excadrill, Mega Mawile, and Mega Lucario to deal heavy Steel damage.
Jacinthe’s Mawile also takes extra damage if you use Fire or Ground-type moves, so we recommend adding in a Mega Emboar for good measure. With this roster, you’ll deal large chunks of damage and can finish the fight with ease.
