Rogue Mega Beedrill Strategy and Recommended Level

Mega Beedrill is fought at Level 41, so try to keep your team at around the same levels or higher. This fight takes a more unique turn as Mega Beedrill will summon allies, like in the Alola games. Except, unlike in those games, it summons multiple allies at once.
The first wave involves a horde of Kakuna, which is its pre-evolution. But after that, it summons a swarm of Beedrill, which are far stronger. Use similar counters to deal with these bugs, as they have the same type as Mega Beedrill.
As for moves, Mega Beedrill has two Bug-type moves and one Poison-type move for you to deal with. Lunge is a Bug-type move where Mega Beedrill suddenly disappears and attacks you on reappearing. Poison Jab is not as fast but deals a decent chunk of damage regardless.
Finally, Pin Missile is an AoE that charges up and sprays like bullets all over the battlefield. Interestingly, the moment it tries to charge up is also the best time to get a few attacks in with your Mega Pokemon. Outside of that, be on your toes constantly.
Defeating the Rogue Mega Beedrill earns you the Beedrillite.
