Best Pokémon to Defeat Rogue Mega Dragonite in Pokemon Legends Z-A

Mega Dragonite is weakest to ice attacks, which means using Ice-type Pokemon against it will be the most effective. However, try to field Ice-type Pokemon capable of Mega Evolution to even the playing field, as Mega Dragonite can counter them with its Fire attacks.

Froslass

Froslass is a potent counter to Mega Dragonite as it is an Ice/Ghost-type Pokemon. Additionally, after defeating Rogue Mega Froslass in Main Mission 27, you have access to Froslass’s Mega Evolution. Collect the Mega Orbs dropped by Mega Dragonite during the battle, and Mega Evolve Froslass when the gauge in the bottom right is full.

Glalie

Glalie is an Ice-type Pokemon that can inflict heavy damage on Mega Dragonite with its attacks. You can purchase Glalitite from Quasartico Inc. using 240 Mega Shards and use it to unlock Mega Glalie.

Aerodactyl

Aerodactyl is a Rock/Flying-type Pokemon that can exploit Mega Dragonite’s weakness to Rock attacks while being resistant to its Fire attacks. However, it will take double damage from the boss’s Electric moves.

You can get Aerodactyl after completing Side Mission 27, Restored from a Fossil, and purchasing its fossil from the Stone Emporium. Unlock Aerodactyl’s Mega Evolution by purchasing Aerodactylite from Quasartico Inc. for 240 Mega Shards.
