Vinnie is a trainer you will need to defeat while climbing the ranks of the Z-A Royale in Pokemon Legends Z-A. The ??? ranked trainer will certainly be a step-up in difficulty from the rest of the pack before him.

How To Defeat Vinnie in Pokemon Legends Z-A (Rank ??? Promotion Match)
You fight Vinnie during Main Mission 10: The Secrets of Mega Evolution. You must gather 6,000 Challenger’s Tickets by participating in the Battle Zone at night. After that, return to Vinnie at Quasartico Inc.’s battle court.
He will face you with a team of four Pokemon, the last of which will Mega Evolve. You will want to be prepared with a Mega Evolved Pokemon of your own to counter this team.

Counters To Defeat Vinnie’s Team in Pokemon Legends Z-A
The best counters to Vinnie’s team is a good Fighting type. All four of his Pokemon are weak to Fighting-type moves. Moreover, two of these are weak to Fairy as well.
Good picks for this fight would be Lucario, Gallade, and Gardevoir. You can get a Riolu extremely early through an in-game trade and evolve it through high friendship. Alternatively, there are certain roofs you can search for Riolu as well.
Coming to Ralts, you can get this Pokemon quite early as well, in Magenta Sector 7. Otherwise, you also get a Ralts holding a Gardevoirite as a pre-order bonus for the game. Gardevoir or Gallade would both be quite proficient in this battle.
Kirlia evolves into Gardevoir at level 30, which is the intended level for this fight. Otherwise, you can use a Dawn Stone and evolve it into Gallade for another Fighting-type Pokemon.
