Pokemon Legends Z-A has an impressive Pokemon roster to find and collect, and this certainly seems like an exciting prospect at first. Dive into a collectathon to get them all, however, and you’ll quick realise how difficult it is to acquire some of them, especially the likes of Helioptile and Heliolisk.
Helioptile and Heliolisk are some of the best electric-type Pokemon you can get in the game, but they can be a hassle to find if you don’t know where to look. Thankfully, that’s exactly why we’ve made this guide. In this guide, we shall go over how to get the Helioptile and Heliolisk in Pokemon Legends Z-A.

How To Get Helioptile in Pokemon Legends Z-A
You find Helioptile in the Wild Zone 14 region of the game during daytime. Wild Zone 14 is right along the western border of the map. Head to this location and press A to enter. The spawns can be a bit inconsistent so don’t worry if you enter and don’t find the Helioptile you seek. Exit the area and enter again. This will refresh the area. Keep doing so till the creature spawns. Once it does, use your Poke Ball to capture it.

How To Get Heliolisk in Pokemon Legends Z-A
Once you have your Helioptile, the process of acquiring a Heliolisk is as simple as evolving the Helioptile. You can evolve a Helioptile to a Heliolisk by using the Sun Stone item. Head to the Stone Emporium shop and interact with the board outside. Scroll through the shop inventory and go all the way to the bottom to find the Sun Stone. You can purchase this item for 3000 Poke Dollars.
Once you have the Sun Stone, head to the Satchel menu and find the Sun Stone. You can then apply this item to the Helioptile in your party to evolve the Pokemon and get Heliolisk.
If this process seems too time consuming and you want nothing to do with a Helioptile, you can acquire a Heliolisk directly from Wild Zone 20. Head to this area and you’ll find an Alpha Heliolisk. This is a difficult fight, so we recommend being prepared ahead of time for it.
