Pokemon Legends Z-A: How To Get Pidgey, Pidgeotto, Pidgeot

Pidgey and its evolutions, Pidgeotto and Pidgeot, are among the most recognizable pocket monsters from the first generation. The Normal/Flying-type Pokemon have made their way into Pokemon Legends Z-A, spread out across its various Wild Zones and Sectors. They are relatively easy to find, allowing trainers to quickly catch them all in their bid to amass a full roster.

How To Find Pidgey in Pokemon Legends Z-A

Pidgey can be found on the rooftops of Wild Zone 1 and Wild Zone 5. To gain entry to the rooftop of Wild Zone 1 marked on the map above, head to its southern (bottom) entrance. Use Rock Smash on the boulders blocking your path into Wild Zone 1. 

With the path cleared, enter Wild Zone 1 and turn right to find a ladder leading to the rooftops. Climb the ladder and explore the rooftops to find a Pidgey. You can easily capture a Pidgey by throwing a Poke Ball at it. 

Alternatively, you can venture to Wild Zone 5 and capture Pidgey along with its evolved form. However, the area isn’t accessible to complete beginners, and you’ll have to progress the main story before gaining entry into Wild Zone 5.

How To Find Pidgeotto in Pokemon Legends Z-A

Pidgeotto is located in Wild Zone 5, just southwest of Wild Zone 20 at the center of the map. To unlock Wild Zone 5, you’ll have to complete the sixth main mission. You can catch Pidgeotto in the eastern (right) section of Wild Zone 5, during both day and night. You can also get Pidgeotto through evolution after reaching level 18 with Pidgey.

How To Find Pidgeot in Pokemon Legends Z-A

Find Pidgeot by climbing to the rooftop southwest of Bleu Sector 5. Enter the sector’s canal and climb the ladder at the end to reach the rooftop. Another option is to capture the Alpha Pidgeot at level 42, situated on the rooftop in Jaune Sector 4. 

To reach the rooftop with Alpha Pidgeot, you’ll have to use the Holovator located southwest of the Hibernal Pokemon Center. You can also obtain Pidgeot by evolving Pidgeotto at level 36.
