Defeat Alpha Pokemon
Alpha Pokemon return from Pokemon Legends Arceus. These Pokemon can be identified by their larger size and glowing red eyes. Defeating them will earn a lot of experience, as they tend to be at a higher level. So battling a lot of Alphas will level up your Pokemon really fast, even if your team takes significant damage afterward.
Get the Red Canari Plush
In Main Mission 5, you have a side mission where you can get a plush of the streamer Canari from Tarragon. This red plush gives a boost to the overall experience your Pokemon receive after completing a battle. Since you get it early on, prioritize it so that your Pokemon can increase its level faster.
Traded Pokemon Earn Experience Faster
Pokemon acquired through trade tend to gain more experience when they level up. There is a risk here, as traded Pokemon may have obedience issues. So make sure that the Pokemon you trade for are around the same level as the Pokemon in your current party.
Try to do some of the in-game trades. The earliest of these can be done as part of the side mission “A Use for an Evolution Stone.” Trade a Pikachu so that she can evolve it with her Thunder Stone.
