Here’s a walkthrough for the Reaching Rank C mission in Pokemon Legends Z-A and some tips on how to defeat Corbeau.
After the introduction of the Rust Syndicate, your next mission is ‘Reaching Rank C’ in Pokemon Legends Z-A. To do this, you’ll need to earn enough Z-A Royale points to get a Challenger’s Ticket. You then need to face off against Corbeau to receive your promotion.
While grinding for a Challenger’s Ticket is a straightforward task, you still need to prepare for your battle against the syndicate’s boss. To help you out, here is a walkthrough for the Reaching Rank C mission in Pokemon Legends Z-A.

How To Complete Reaching Rank C in Pokemon Legends Z-A
After the events in the ‘A Request from the Rust Syndicate’ mission, you will need to speak with Corbeau. He will discuss your promotion and what you need to do to get it.
Get A Challenger Ticket
Before the promotion can commence, you first need to collect a Challenger’s Ticket by earning a total of 38,000 Ticket Points. You will need to visit zones at night to grind for these points. Keep an eye out for Bonus Cards, which can increase the amount of ticket points you get.
If you want to skip the day, simply rest on a bench. Otherwise, go out and do other errands while waiting for nighttime.
Challenge Corbeau
Once you have a Challenger’s Ticket, head back to the Rust Syndicate Office via fast travel. Find Philippe to start your battle against Corbeau. To help you out, here is a quick rundown of his team lineup:

Most of his Pokemon are Poison-types. Gyrados is the outlier of this team. This means you can go for a good mix of Psychic and possibly Electric-type. Alternatively, you can bring in a solid Fire-type Pokemon to deal with his Mega Scolipede.
Reaching Rank C
Once you defeat Corbeau, you will then get promoted to Rank C. Additionally, you will receive the TM for Gunk Shot. Once that’s done, you’ll just have to go through the cutscene, and you’ll complete the Reaching Rank C mission in Pokemon Legends Z-A. You then proceed to the next mission, which is A Showdown on the Battle Court.
