Pokemon Legends Z-A release date is October 16, 2025. The game is set to arrive on both Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2. Players will be able to upgrade from the former to the latter with an Upgrade Pack for both digital and physical versions. The NS2 edition will provide improved graphics and frame rates.

The Pokemon Legends Z-A release date announcement was shared on the official Pokemon X (formerly known as Twitter) channel. The accompanying cover art showcases multiple pocket monsters in their base and mega evolved forms, including the likes of Mega Absol, Mega Lucario, Totodile, Mega Gardevoir, Mega Scizor, and Zygarde core.

Pokemon Legends Z-A will be the first mainline game launch since Scarlet and Violet came out in 2022. It will play sequel to Pokemon X and Y and is the second Pokemon Legends game after Pokemon Legends Arceus. With the Legends Z-A release date finally confirmed, we can expect new in-depth information about the title to arrive at the upcoming Pokemon Presents, scheduled for July 22, 2025.
