This Pokemon Legends Z-A walkthrough will take you through the “Trevenant, the Haunted Elder Tree!” side quest.
Lumiose City in Pokemon Legends Z-A is quite the attraction, and in “Trevenant, the Haunted Elder Tree!,” it is downright a movie set. The Director is shooting a film in the city, with the iconic Trevenant set to be the big star of the film. The problem, however, is that he doesn’t have a Trevenant. A casting agent is certainly incapable of finding one, and that’s where you come into play.
In “Trevenant, the Haunted Elder Tree!,” your goal is to help the Director find a Trevenant for his movie. The task is easier said than done, considering the massive size of the map, but we’re here to help. How To Complete Trevenant, the Haunted Elder Tree! In Pokemon Legends Z-A
Starting Location
You begin this quest by talking to the Director near Wild Zone 4, which you’ll find on the northern end of the map. The Director will only be here after you’ve finished Main Mission 35, “Reaching Rank A,” and the “Carvanha, Menace of the Deep!” side mission.
Talk to the Director, and he’ll reveal that he’s trying to shoot a film. For this film, he desperately needs a Trevenant for an important scene. Since the Director is busy with the film, he can’t go out and seek the Pokemon himself, so he needs your help with it.

Finding the Trevenant
Now that we know what the Director needs, it’s time to get him the Trevenant. Wrap up the conversation and head to Wild Zone 13. This Wild Zone is directly northwest of Wild Zone 4, a short walk away from where you met the Director.
Head to Wild Zone 13, and enter the zone from its eastern entrance. Make sure you’re coming here at night. Enter the park, and you’ll see the Trevenant walking about near the bushes to your right. This is a Level 48 Alpha Trevenant. Damage the creature, and then use your Poke Ball to capture it. Take the Trevenant back to the Director to complete this quest and earn the following rewards:
- 4800 Poke Dollars
- 3x Dusk Ball
- 1x Soda Pop
