Magcargo ex has a deceptively powerful move in Ground Burn. While the move has a base 140 damage, it has an additional effect of discarding the top cards of both decks.
For each of those cards that are Energy cards, the move does an additional 140 damage. With the help of cards like Ciphermaniac’s Codebreaking, Team Star Grunt, and Academy at Night, you can easily hit the ceiling of 420 damage, which will KO any Pokemon in the current TCG meta.
