Zoroark is a card in the White Flare expansion of the Pokemon TCG. It is an interesting card because both of its attacks have the chance to be quite devastating…depending on the opponent’s deck. Its first move, Mind Jack, does 30 damage for each of your opponent’s Benched Pokemon.
Meanwhile, its other move, Foul Play, copies an opponent’s move for three Colorless Energy. As players are unlikely to run into a situation where your opponent has no usable moves and no Benched Pokemon, Zoroark has the chance to carve a niche in the meta.

Here’s the strategy for this deck:
- Zoroark will use Mind Jack or Foul Play depending on the cards the opponent has in play.
- Hilda will let you use Foul Play immediately as long as you have a Zorua in play. This new card will let you search out a Zoroark and Ignition Energy and use them immediately.
- If you need to use Mind Jack, use cards like Accompanying Flute, Erika’s Invitation, and Mandibuzz to fill out their Bench.
- Dusknoir is in the deck to act as a nice Prize trade option, KOing itself in exchange for hopefully taking something out.

Best Matchups
This deck does best against Tera Box decks that use Area Zero Underdepths to increase the number of cards on their Bench. In such situations, Zoroark can spam Mind Jack with ease.
Counters to Zoroark Deck in Pokemon TCG
Raging Bolt ex’s Bellowing Thunder becomes stronger depending on the number of Basic Energy cards you can discard from your other Pokemon. As this deck doesn’t play too many Energy cards, Foul Play cannot copy Bellowing Thunder effectively.

- Munkidori can use the Basic Darkness Energy in this deck to redirect damage from your Pokemon.
