The upcoming Pokemon TCG expansion is a dual set – Black Bolt and White Flare. Naturally, collectors and players are excited for certain cards from this set. 5) Victini Special Art Rare
While Victini is getting a special promotional card in the style of the new Black White Rare (one of whom is on this list), that card is not easily available from booster packs. Instead, the Victini BWR will be awarded to select Tournament and Lottery winners. So players have to be satisfied with the Special Art Rare of this Fire-type Mythical, which sees the Pokemon sitting on a cliff overlooking a large water body. The card also shows the sun setting as well as rainbows forming, which have formed a nice layer over the card. It’s also decent competitively, capable of dealing 120 damage for a mere two Fire Energy as long as the user’s bench is full.
4) Serperior ex Special Art Rare
Serperior ex is the only starter in the Black Bolt expansion, so there’s quite a lot of anticipation for this card. Starters generally tend to be popular, so this one definitely has us excited.

Kyurem ex is another Legendary that is likely to attract a lot of attention. It’s Special Art Rare sees it in an icy chasm, indicating that its in Giant Chasm. This makes sense as the player encounters Kyurem in the postgame of Black and White in that cave. Competitively it is unlikely to see a lot of use, except potentially as late game Bench sniper.
2) N’s Plot Special Art Rare
Ah yes, N. The morally conflicted antagonist of Black and White gets a new card about his plot. While the card is a decent Supporter, moving two Energy to the Active Pokemon from the Benched Pokemon, making it a useful Energy accelerator, its Special Art Rare is the main attraction.
N can be seen waiting in front of a Ferris Wheel in the card. This implies that the card is depicting the moment N confronts the player at Nimbasa City, where he reveals that he is the King of Team Plasma. The fact that N has a conflicted look on his face does a fantastic job in showcasing his inner turmoil between his ideals and the truth.
