Pokimane called out a recent stalker attack on Valkyrae, Cinna, and Emiru and asked the police to take strict action.

Twitch streamer Imane “Pokimane” Anys condemned the recent stalker attack on Rachell “Valkyrae” Hofstetter, Emily “Emiru” Schunk, and Brittany “Cinna” Lynn Watts. She said that the police need to take stalking-related complaints more seriously.
A stalker appeared on a livestream by Valkyrae, Emiru, and Cinna on March 2, 2025. The unidentified man attacked the three streamers and asked them to hand over their phone numbers. The trio ended the stream after the stalker attack. Cinna got home and told her fans that the streamers were safe.
Clips from the livestream went viral, and internet users condemned the man’s actions. The streamers filed a police report and are awaiting action. None of the streamers knew the man and suspected he was an obsessed viewer stalking them.

She claims police should actively protect people who have a public presence. One of the issues she highlighted is that police wait for a crime to occur before taking action. The streamer added:
“stalking is equally an issue for girls who aren’t publicly known. we’re lucky to have access to resources to better protect ourselves, but many don’t, and the fact that the police doesn’t help until something’s already happened is just ridiculous.”

Thank you for all the love and support on the marathon. We love you all.
Valkyrae responded to the tweet and said:
“I know we are sitting by each other but I just wanna say I love you and I’m so proud of you and wouldn’t have changed this marathon at all :’) Ty for doing this with me and I can’t wait for the next one”
The three streamers wanted to host a marathon Twitch stream with IRL (in real life) and variety content. However, the recent attack affected their plans, and they have no current plans to reschedule the marathon event.
