FaZe Clan content creator and streamer Nick Fosco, widely known as Lacy, has shut down his X community, “Lacy Thugs.”
FaZe Clan member Nick Fosco, known online as Lacy, has deleted his X community “Lacy Thugs,” which consisted of over 70K members. The streamer has not given any reasons for the deletion of his community as of this writing. Earlier this year, however, Fosco had departed from the community, citing hateful comments as the reason for his departure. This comes after Adin Ross deleted his community “Adin Loyals” of over 100K members citing change and maturity.
According to X users, Nick’s community was filled with hate toward the streamer and other behaviors such as targeted harassment. Lacy’s physical transformation was a hot topic for the community and often led to unnecessary hate. Fosco had previously commented on the deletion of “AR Loyals,” stating he did not want the community to get deleted.
Lacy had also been vocal about his community’s hateful content and how it affected him. He also departed the community briefly in October 2024. The streamer asked the community to stop hating on every little thing and said he would be “nuking” the community if the hate continued. However, it wasn’t until December 18, 2024, that he deleted the community entirely.
How Did X Users React to the Deletion of Lacy’s Community
In a stream previously, Lacy had explained why the community was called “thugs,” citing that Adin’s clip of him saying “thug” in a different manner prompted him to name it. When Adin deleted his own community, many users joked about migrating to Nick’s community. Some even pointed out the similarities between the two, as Lacy is inspired by Adin in some ways.
Members of the community expressed their disappointment on X, while some praised the decision, stating that the communities are filled with toxicity and hate. Some users also stated that Fosco is copying Adin.
“as he should, majority of these comms have just become spaces filled with hate and dumb*ss sh*t,” wrote @dietwock.
“Lacy wants to be Adin Ross to much,” stated @suayrez.
“They got the AR Loyals treatment,” commented @Flixgotclips.
The streamer has not made any statements and has yet to comment on the situation or provide a reason.
