The Snowy Mountains is a brand-new explorable area in Prospecting. Roblox players can tackle this new area and climb up the treacherous terrain in search of rare minerals and complete requests from NPCs. It will not be easy at first, but with enough patience and commitment, you can easily ace this new area.

Conquering the Snowy Mountains in Prospecting
To reach the Snowy Mountains, you must first meet and interact with the Arctic Traveler. This is an NPC who is eager to get off Caldera Island and to venture to someplace new. He will then ask you to melt the ice, and you must have fire-based items to help you in this trek. Complete the favor and you will receive the following rewards:
- 250 Shards
- 100,000 EXP
- 1,000,000 Cash
Getting there is the easy part, but Roblox players must prepare themselves for what this terrain could offer. Each new area has different levels of toughness, and you must bring the right gear to get the job done.
Completing Quests and Unlocking New Rewards
One of the best parts about the Snowy Mountains update is the new equipment. However, you must take the high road to acquire the new pan, sluice, and shovel. Start from the docking area and take a left, then head for the crafting station. Use the Blacksmith NPC as a landmark and climb using the ladders nearby to find the Builder NPC. Doing so will trigger a quest called ‘Repairing the Bridge,’ and it involves you collecting the following materials:
- 50 Cobalt
- 100 Glacial Quartz
- 200 Titanium
- 250 Blue Ice
Once you have all of these items, return to the Builder and receive your rewards. The next part involves meeting the Mountain Surveyor, and he will ask you to bring one of each of the following items:
- Vortessence
- Volcanic Core
Return to the Mountain Surveyor, and the path blocking the peak will be cleared. Reach the top and you will find a Merchant NPC selling new prospecting gear. Here is all the new gear you can purchase and how much it costs:
