What Is the Siege X Showdown Game Mode?
Showdown is a 3v3 game mode in Rainbow Six Siege X that follows a Secure Area format, with each round lasting 90 seconds. In this mode, the attacking team must eliminate all defenders or capture the objective, while the defending team wins by either eliminating all attackers or successfully defending the objective.
Another thing to note in this game mode is that operators cannot use their abilities. This means you can only use weapons and specific gadgets. Speaking of weapons, the selection will also exclude a few that do not fit the theme of the Wild West. This means submachine guns and assault rifles are most likely not usable in this game mode. The lack of automatic weapons also means you can’t just spray-and-pray your way into winning the match.
As an added bonus, the game mode also features special skins for the available operators when playing the Showdown game mode in Siege X. They’ll be wearing weapon-themed Wild West outfits, making you feel like a gunslinger ready for a showdown at high noon. This includes various cosmetics like headgears, weapon charms, and weapon skins.
