Difference Between Hard and Soft Objectives in Ready or Not

Every mission that you play in Ready or Not will feature two types of objectives: Hard and Soft. While you can get the mission marked as ‘Complete’ by finishing just the Hard Objectives, Soft Objectives are also necessary for complete immersion.
Hard objectives in Ready or Not are the quests that are compulsory to complete in order to complete that specific mission. Additionally, all daily tasks available in the game are also marked as Hard Objectives. These include objectives such as arresting or eliminating suspects, collecting evidence, rescuing hostages, saving civilians, etc. These are the objectives that are directly linked to the quest that you are playing.
Soft objectives, on the other hand, are what pose an actual challenge but also make the game a lot more fun. If you are looking for a proper, realistic SWAT officer experience, we highly suggest you try these out. Finding a certain NPC that is not directly linked to the quest, or finding an additional piece of information or evidence regarding the quest you are playing, falls under the category of Soft objectives.
While these objectives might not sound like a big deal, they are essential if you are targeting an S rank in a specific quest. Moreover, completing these objectives will make you feel much more involved in the lore, the backstory, etc.
