Rematch is almost here and it’s soccer seen in a completely new light. When compared to a traditional soccer video game, this plays out differently. You now get to hone a single character towards greatness by using it in a set of different game modes.

In this article, we will be looking at the different game modes you can play in Rematch.

3vs3 Mode in Rematch

This mode of the game is highly reliant on your solo skills and ability to make quick decisions. With fewer people on the pitch, you get to experiment more with how to try out different tricks, dribbles, and quick sprints. There is less reliance on passing, with only one player ahead with you at most times, with the third member being back at the goalpost.

This game mode is more on the intense side, yet simple and the best for beginners who are getting started in the game. You have more time to get a good hang of the controls and game mechanics.

4vs4 Mode in Rematch

Feeling confident with the game now? Well, let’s up the stakes a bit, shall we? The 4vs4 game mode is all about gearing up to be ready for the main challenge. Now that you have a handle on solo play, you can start putting your passing skills to the test.

With three to four players being in the front at any given time, you have more options to pass the ball around, yet enough reason to still try your luck with your solo skills. This mode gives you the right balance in the game and helps improve your positioning as well as team skills.

5vs5 Mode in Rematch

The 5vs5 game mode is the biggest game mode as of now and at launch. In this mode, there will be 10 players on the pitch, with either three or four of your teammates ahead of you. This mode is pure chaos, with constant changes of ball positions among both teams. This is the only game mode with a ranked match option in the beta phase.

There is no information regarding whether the other modes will be available for ranked or not. This mode puts everything you have learned to the test. You have to time your passes and positioning on the field. Even a slight error with your estimations, and you will be sure to concede a goal. Power through this mode, and you can say for sure that you’re ready to take up any challenge in the game.
