Here we will be discussing the different platforms and launchers Rematch will be available on and if a Steam account is mandatory.

The three successful beta phases of Rematch have finally come to rest. The beta phase reached a peak of over 150,000 players logging into the game in a single day, indicating the immense success this game is likely to achieve. With the release date just days away, pre-orders are out now, and you can start adding the game to your library earlier to enjoy some extra benefits.
Fortunately for those who don’t heavily rely on Steam and have other accounts, the Steam account won’t be mandatory. In this article, we will be looking at which accounts you can use to play Rematch.
Rematch Can Be Played With Different Launcher Accounts on PC

At launch, Rematch will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox. There have been no official confirmations for Rematch on Nintendo Switch yet. But there are high possibilities for it making an appearance in the future, considering how popular the game already is before its launch. While both PlayStation 5 and Xbox have singular forms of accounts, you have multiple ways to play on the PC.
With the PC, you get to make accounts with both the Steam launcher and the Xbox launcher. That being said, Rematch will not be supporting cross-save or cross-progression. This means that your progress and stats will not continue as you log in with your account on different launchers. Neither will this work on different platforms.
So the best option as of now is to purchase the game on the platform and the launcher you know you will be investing the most time on.
